Following on the heels of the recent workshop on having Courageous Conversations in Multi-Racial Setting, the Racial Justice Team is sponsoring two programs on initiating difficult conversations. They will explore ways to talk wisely across racial and other differences. Sessions are open to all, whether or not you attended the Courageous Conversations workshops.

On Sunday, May 31, from 9:30-10:30 am, we look at another aspect of communication: Describe a conversation that you’d like to have but are afraid—or shy—to initiate. What stands in your way? How might you overcome hesitation?

On Sunday, July 26 from 9 to 10:15 am, we’ll tackle another topic: Describe a courageous conversation that you’ve initiated. How did it go? What worked? What didn’t work? How might you approach a similar situation next time? Please join us. The session is open to all.
