Teachers and assistants needed:

The Religious Education Committee is looking for a few more teachers and assistants. Classes begin September 14. It’s not too late!

We are looking for the following volunteers:

• 1 Elementary age teacher or assistant for grades 1-4 (ages 6-10)
• 1 Middle school teacher & 1 Middle school assistant (grades 5-7, ages 10-13)
• A lead planner for some First Sundays (Only 5 First Sundays across from October to June, and World Quaker Day is October 5th!) – All ages together in the community room

We aim for 2 teachers and 2 assistants per classroom so that teams work together and share the load. This usually means each person is only volunteering/teaching one Sunday per month. (The exception is when there is a fifth Sunday in a month.) Curricula and other resources are available for you to use for ideas or to teach directly. All Religious Education volunteers are required to complete a background check. Contact Elizabeth Price if you are interested in learning more or have questions.

Registration Forms

Registration forms will be available in September and must be completed every year for each child attending RE.
