Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), which lobbies Congress, is seeking input on the concerns to prioritize for the 2025-2026 congressional sessions. FCNL favors laws that do the following:

  1. Seek a world free of war and the threat of war,
  2. Seek a society with equity and justice for all,
  3. Seek a community where every person’s potential may be fulfilled,
  4. Seek an earth restored.

Within these categories, Friends are invited to voice your ideas about how to prioritize FCNL’s efforts. For more details, see https://www.fcnl.org/issues.

The Peace and Social Concerns  Committee is leading the gathering of your ideas, with Mary Julia Street, the meeting’s liaison to FCNL, assisting and scribing. Please email your thoughts or questions to Mary Julia.
